It is the US provider of yeast two-hybrid screening, with a global customer base comprised of the world's leading universities, government research institutes and pharmaceutical companies in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, France, Denmark, Portugal and Germany. In contrast to our competitors, ProteinLinks performs all screening steps in the United States. Using proprietary technologies, ProteinLinks exploits synergy between a high efficient screening process and an interchangeable modular platform for a wide array of baits (including modified and self-activating baits) and cDNA libraries. Multiple controls throughout the screening process allow scientists to use its data with confidence.

ProteinLinks was founded by Dr. C. Wilson Xu. Dr. Xu was a Human Frontier Science Program fellow in the Genetics Department at Harvard University from 1994-1998, during which time he co-developed a highly selective and robust yeast two-hybrid system. From 1998-2004, Dr. Xu was Head of the Chemical Biology Laboratory at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and a member of the faculty at the Cornell University Graduate School of Medical Sciences.
